Ensuring schools and libraries across the U.S. are connected to information and resources through the Internet
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) adopted the E-Rate Modernization Order, more commonly known as the E-Rate program, on July 11, 2014. The E-Rate Program helps ensure public and private schools (K-12) and libraries across the U.S. are connected to information and resources through the Internet by expanding funding for Wi-Fi networks.
