Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
The policy of Eaton is to incorporate the highest levels of universal accessibility and usability into the design of all of the products it manufactures. Eaton supports federal accessibility legislation such as Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (found at 29 U.S.C.794d); however, Eaton products are exempt from Section 508, according to Section 1194.3 (General Exceptions): " ...products located in spaces frequented only by service personnel for maintenance, repair, or occasional monitoring of equipment are not required to comply with this part."
