Insurance Claims

Eaton offers comprehensive insurance coverage and support with many of its products. Keep in mind that insurance coverage amounts vary from product to product, and terms may change without notice. Refer to your individual product for specific insurance information. Eaton's Ultimate Lifetime Insurance policy is valid in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico only.

Insurance Claim Instructions

Review our Ultimate Lifetime Insurance Policy to help you determine if you qualify for a claim. To receive service under this warranty, you must be the original purchaser/user of the product in question. Follow these three steps to make your claim:

  1. All claims under this warranty must be submitted in writing to Eaton within 30 days of the occurrence or the claim will not be considered.
  2. You must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from Eaton. Products not accompanied by a valid RMA number will not be accepted. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the packaging.
  3. Products must be returned to Eaton with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase.
