Transcript | In this video, you’ll learn the proper procedures for assembling a WorkWise Standing Desk Base. After opening your package, lay out all components and hardware as listed in your owner’s manual. You’ll find the center rails inside the frame ends. These pieces shipped together to save space. Just slide the rails out and set them aside. The first step in the assembly process is to attach the two frame ends to the base’s legs. Make sure the cross beams of the frame ends are facing upward so these grommeted holes are on top. Now, line up the pre-drilled holes on the sides of the frame ends to the pre-drilled holes on the sides of the legs. Use four of the included 14 mm screws to attach each frame end to each leg. After you’ve attached the two frame ends to the base’s legs, the next step is to attach each side bracket to each frame end/leg assembly. Use two of the included 35 mm screws to attach each bracket. Step 3 is to slide the two center rails back into the frame ends. To do this, lay the frame end/leg assemblies upside down. Make sure the slots in the center rails face inward and the rails’ thicker edges face downward. After sliding the center rails into the frame ends, leave them as is. Don’t screw them in until you’re absolutely sure how wide your base needs to be to accommodate your desk top. Step 4 is to attach the base’s feet. Each foot has a cutout in the center of it so it fits snugly onto the end of a leg. Once you’ve attached the feet to the base’s legs, secure each foot using four of the included 14 mm screws. The final step in the assembly process is to connect the control box to the base. First, take the end of the cord that’s closest to the control box and plug it directly into the box. Then, connect the cord dangling from the other end of the base to the extension cord included in your package, and connect the extension cord to the control box. Use the cable clips included in your package to secure loose cable to the frame. To connect the unit to AC power, connect the included power cord to the control box, then plug it into your source. And now the assembly is complete, and you’re ready to attach a desk top. Thank you for your interest in Tripp Lite products. |
